These albums contain albumen prints of: Kingston Mills and Locks; Rice Lake; Cobourg; Kingston; Tete du Point; Fort Henry; tennis courts; field hockey games; skiff sailing races; and railroad construction.
The album contains photographs of Queen's campus and Kingston in, or around, 1915. Included are views of Grant Hall, Theological Hall, Ontario Hall, Science Rush (initiation), the Drafting Room, groups of Garfield Rogers friends and colleagues - including a shot of him and one of his wife, and a military parade down King Street near Market Square. The album has been dismantled and the photographs individually sleeved.
The album, which was copied in 2000, contains photographs of: the Grass/Ellerbeck farm house and barn on Hillview Road, Collins Bay; Sydenham High School (ca. 1900); the light house and goats on Brother's Island; and an early shot of the Kingston airport being constructed (1939).
Items include a promissory note for one dollar, payable by the Independent Hungarian Government, issued 2 Feb. 1852, as well as a letter explaining the note from Charles Stone, 1956.
