There are approximately 100 individuals represented in this series with whom there was considerable correspondence. Among the most voluminous correspondence is that from Gilbert McMicken (secret service reports); Sir George Stephen; Sir Alexander Campbell; Hon. Edgar Dewdney; Sir Alexander T. Galt; Lawrence Vankoughnet; Sir David Macpherson; and Sir Charles Tupper.
