Fonds consists of correspondence, including several members of the Group of Seven - A.Y. Jackson, Lawren Harris, and A.J. Casson; diaries, including a detailed inventory of the Putnam's art collection; subject files; clippings; photographs; sound and vidoe recordings consisting of an interview with A.Y. Jackson detailing the early years of the Group of Seven, and interviews with Joyce Putnam by CBC Radio's 'Ontario Morning' and local Kingston television (COGECO) programme, 'Senior Scope'; material relating to the publishing of Joyce Putnam's manuscript, "Seven Years with the Group of Seven"; files relating to the theft of a number of Group of Seven paintings from the Putnam's personal collection; scrapbook of her one-woman art show; a copy of her personal reminiscences entitled, "75 Cents a Week".

The fonds consists of documents concerning labour relations of the time, including letters requesting employment, employee expense accounts, letters from the penitentiary regarding fees and the nature of quality labour, and an early wage dispute/settlement from an employee against J.P. Milliner and Company.
The fonds predominantly consists of records of the Afro-Caribe Community Foundation as well as some records from a variety of other community groups, such as Queen's University student groups, in which Brown has participated, or had interest. There is also a small amount of material that is representational of Brown's teaching career.
The fonds consists of material created, gathered and maintained by Judith Moses pertaining to the anti-violence women's movement in Southern Ontario. Much of this material was created by Moses in her role as a consultant for organizations and well as her professional work within organizations. The gathered material is reflective of the literature that was being produced, and disseminated within the community in the 1970s through the 1990s.
