Transcriptions of letters written to England, from John Alves and Helen Kerr. These letters describe economic, social and political conditions in Upper Canada.
The collection consists of a scrapbook (Across Canada with King George V1 and Queen Elizabeth), which relates to the royal visit to Canada and the United States, May-June, 1939.

The fonds consists of all personal and official correspondence pertaining to all aspects of Sir Edward's life including Prince of Wales Tours (1919 -1920), foreign affairs (1919-1922), imperial relations (1918-1922), India (1920-1922), Ireland (1920-1921), East Africa (1925-1930), election material (1923 & 1933), and defence (1932-1945). The fonds also contains press clippings, reviews, pamphlets, speeches and articles.
The fonds consists of correspondence, reports, student essays and other material relating to the Canadian Legion Educational Services Overseas during World War II, Ghana and the Colombo plan while Ault was director general of Technical Assistance, Department of Trade and Commerce.
The fonds consists of an original diary created by Ballingall during his time in Kingston that includes sketches by C.D. Shanly and Lady Alexander and vignettes about the pirate, Bill Johnston, and indigenous peoples at Cataraqui River. Also included is a microfilm copy of the diary.
The fonds consists of photocopies of a series of diaries containing an almost daily holograph record of the activities of the farm near Brockville, Ont., and surrounding district.
The fonds consists of legal papers belonging to George Baxter and family, Misses Baxter and Mrs. Isabel Innes, and John Bell and his heirs. Also included are medical documents belonging to John Maitland. Most of the material relates to the family farm in Pittsburgh Township and the family home at Cataraqui Grange. There is also correspondence to Lt. Col. L.D.M. Baxter, dominion president of the Canadian Legion of the British Empire Service League, from several leading world figures, as well as articles relating to John R. Day.
